Consequences now very well documented!

Mutations from smoking have been sequenced on a large scale and are reported in a new study in Science!
  Not only seen in lung cells, the numbers of fixed mutations seem to be permanent, and not eradicated after smoking is stopped...

All the more reason to think before you start!  

Sadly, even the current generation of University students in this region certainly haven't considered this enough!  (see images below, from last week!)

From the BBC report on the new study, the latest estimates predict that nine out of ten cases of lung cancer in the UK are preventable.  
Spread the word!  
Putting up more AGiR! flyers where people smoke is one good way to do this!
