Special Keynote Lecture (and P1 again!)

There are two special news items today!

Next Thursday, 13June, there will be a keynote lecture at a UNIL symposium, entitled Sugar and cancer: not a sweet story! by Lewis C. Cantley from Cornell. Sponsored by the Grace family, I am really looking forward to this! Here is the program for the full symposium, with lots of interest in terms of dynamics of genomic integrity!

Additionally, some even bigger news: the lab of Hackuarium can again do P1 (biosafety level 1) experimentation, after an inspection today. Maybe I am really going to learn more about how synthetic biology isn't just another word for molecular biology?? :)
